The Department of Chemistry at the UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHARLOTTE invites applications for TWO LECTURER POSITIONS, one in GENERAL CHEMISTRY, the other in ORGANIC CHEMISTRY. Each is a renewable, 12-month, full-time position beginning on July 1, 2008. A Ph.D. in Chemistry and teaching experience at the college or university level are required. The General Chemistry Lecturer will teach introductory chemistry courses, supervise graduate teaching assistants instructing in the introductory chemistry laboratories, and assist in the advancement of the introductory chemistry curriculum; the Organic Chemistry Lecturer will have analogous responsibilities for the undergraduate organic chemistry curriculum.
